To ask the Secretary of State for Defence what contact there has been between officials of his Department and Messrs de Normann and Mackenzie Geidt regarding their libel actions against Central Television.

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence if, further to his letter to the hon. Member for Sunderland, South of 23 May, he will give the name and title of the official with whom Mr. Mackenzie Geidt had an informed discussion in October 1989 following his return from Vietnam.
