§ The Prime MinisterWe warmly welcome President Bush's imaginative initiative to combat proliferation and the unrestrained spread of conventional weapons in the middle east. We look forward to taking his proposals forward, together with our own ideas, at the forthcoming meeting of the five leading arms exporters in Paris, and thereafter at the London economic summit.
