To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer how much aggregate was dredged from the Goodwin sands last year; and what were the comparable figures for each of the last 10 years.

In 1990 402,084 tonnes of aggregate was dredged from the Goodwin sands. Comparable information from 1980 is as follows:
