To ask the Secretary of State for Defence what analysis he has made of the effect of air power in winning the war in the Gulf.

The success of the allied air campaign clearly paved the way for the liberation of Kuwait. We are continuing our detailed analysis of the conflict, together with the conclusions to be drawn from it.
