To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if he will give the rates of pay for make-work on St. Helena and the relevant rate of inflation for the last 10 years.

The weekly wage for workers engaged on the three-day work scheme is £22.86. The tables below record the percentage change in wages paid under the three-day work scheme since annual reviews were introduced on 1 April 1988. The retail prices index is given since 1981.
