To ask the Secretary of State for Defence if he will make a statement on the work of Royal Ordnance plc and 21 Explosive Ordnance Disposal Squadron, Royal Engineers, in Kuwait.

It is not for the Ministry of Defence to comment on the work of a private company. As for 21 Explosive Ordnance Disposal Squadron, I refer the hon. Member to the answer I gave him on 13 May (Official Report, column 58).
