HC Deb 03 June 1991 vol 192 c76W
Rev. Ian Paisley

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether he will initiate a review of the conviction and sentence passed on Mr. David Dawson, a prisoner at Her Majesty's prison, Liverpool.

Mr. John Patten

My right hon. Friend is always ready to consider new representations about the safety of a conviction. Mr. Dawson's case was examined last year in the light of representations made and no grounds were then found to justify any further action. There are currently no representations before my right hon. Friend about this case.
