§ Mr. JackTwo full-time technically qualified managers have been appointed in the DSS; one in the Benefits Agency and one in the Information Technology Services Agency. Nine energy liaison officers have been appointed in the territorial directorates of the Benefits Agency to promote energy-saving practices and to monitor the energy target. They are assisted by colleagues in the territorial offices and in each local office. Detailed information about the time spent on energy matters in the territorial directorates is not readily available so it is not possible to calculate the total number of man years devoted to energy management.
