§ Mr. FreemanMy predecessor asked London Transport to consider, among other proposals arising from the London assessment studies, the case for a southern extension of the Northern line to Streatham and, possibly, on to Crystal Palace. That consideration is not yet complete. The question of authorising expenditure does not therefore arise.
