Whether the letters of intent from the Nature Conservancy Council to its successor bodies regarding consultation with those bodies responsible for archaeology, buildings and the countryside have been received by the successor bodies; and whether the sentiments expressed in those letters are working to the Government's satisfaction.
§ Baroness BlatchAll three successor bodies are aware of, and support, the statement of intent announced by NCC earlier this year. They are currently working out the details of its operation in consultation with the bodies responsible for the architectural and built heritage. I will send the noble Lord a copy of the NCC's statement.
