Powys Health Authority August 1982 Merthyr and Cynon Valley July 1983 Rhymney Valley July 1983 East Glamorgan Unit August 1983 Mid Glamorgan Health Authority August 1983 Ogwr Unit August 1983 Gwynedd Health Authority November 1983 West Glamorgan Health Authority December 1983 Clwyd Health Authority December 1983 East Dyfed/Pembrokeshire Health Authority March 1985 South Glamorgan Health Authority September 1985 Gwent Health Authority November 1985 More recently, the NHS advisory service has been involved in visits inspecting services for the mentally ill in Wales; currently it is involved in visits to services provided for problem drug users.
