§ Mr. Archie HamiltonAir-to-air refuelling is permitted outside the designated air refuelling areas listed in the United Kingdom air pilot and Royal Air Force flight information publications, but normally only over the sea. lf, exceptionally, permission is given to conduct air refuelling over land and outside the designated areas, such operations must be carried out at high level, away from built-up areas.
