§ Mr. MacleanThe milk from the farms in Derbyshire whose milk was withdrawn was analysed for seven dioxins and 10 furans. These are listed in the paper "Surveillance of British Foods for PCDDs and PCDFs" which was placed in the Library in July 1990.
§ Mr. Simon HughesTo ask the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food what steps he is taking to ensure that the polluter pays in the case of the milk unfit for consumption in Derbyshire due to dioxin contamination.
§ Mr. MacleanCivil redress has to be pursued by those who have suffered the losses. We shall however, be publishing in full the results of our detailed research programme in this area.
