§ Mr. Heathcoat-AmoryHer Majesty's Government have received no official communication from the Commission on this matter. However, the Government have noted that on 21 March the Commission announced in a press statement that infraction proceedings would be instituted against a number of member states, including the United Kingdom, under article 37 of the treaty of Rome.
