§ Mr. SalmondTo ask the Secretary of State for Scotland how many Cruden houses there are in Scotland: how many have been built in the last 30 years; and if he will give details of where these houses were built and when.
§ Lord James Douglas-HamiltonI take it that the hon. Member is referring to the non-traditional steel-framed houses built by Cruden Houses Limited. About 3,000 of these houses were built in Scotland between 1947 and 1950; none has been built since that date. The houses were located in the following areas.
