§ Mr. Peter LloydThe obligations relevant to section 9(9) of the Broadcasting Act 1990 are the advertising provisions in the EC Directive of Broadcasting and the Council of Europe convention on transfrontier television. The Independent Television Commission has been made aware of them and they have been reflected in its codes of practice on advertising.
