To ask the Secretary of State for Defence whether his feasibility studies into the options for the disposal of decommissioned nuclear-propelled submarines are complete; and if he will make a statement.

The policy for disposal of decommissioned nuclear submarines is still under active consideration. No final decision has yet been taken.

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence if he will list the locations of all nuclear-powered submarines which have either been decommissioned or are awaiting decommissioning.

Dreadnought and Churchill are at Rosyth and Warspite and Conqueror at Devonport.
