§ Mr. Douglas HoggAs a permanent member of the UN Security Council, China has played a full part in discussions at the UN on the implementation of UN Security Council resolutions and measures to ensure Iraqi compliance. We shall remain in close touch with the Chinese over the need to ensure that Iraq meets its obligations and over other topical regional issues.
