§ Mr. FearnTo ask the Secretary of State for the Environment what discretionary grants are available from his Department for national projects undertaken by voluntary organisations involved in heritage work.
§ Mr. YeoNational projects undertaken by voluntary organisations involved in heritage work are eligible for funding under two grant schemes operated by my Department.
The main source of funding for such projects is the special grants programme which assists voluntary organisations for activities relevant to the Department's interests.
They can also be eligible for the environmental grant fund which aims to support the work of voluntary groups on innovative projects which will help take forward the policies set out in our White Paper "This Common Inheritance".
