§ Mr. McLeish
To ask the Secretary of State for Energy if he will list(a) the number of youth training places in his Department and (b) the number of places occupied in May for each of the years 1989, 1990 and the current year.

§ Mr. Wakeham
In May 1989 one trainee was in place under the youth training scheme. The Department has no youth training places at present.
