§ Mr. Archie HamiltonHans Blix, Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), reported directly to the Secretary General of the United Nations on the recent IAEA-led inspections of Iraqi nuclear sites. His reports are confidential and it would be improper for the Government to publish details of IAEA documents communicated in confidence to IAEA member states. It is for the IAEA to decide how to treat any findings.
I am able to say, however, that the IAEA is satisfied that it has identified and located all the uranium held under agency safeguards by the Iraqis.
