§ Mr. FlynnTo ask the Secretary of State for Employment what information he has concerning risks posed to local residents of Gwent from the explosion on 13 July at the toxic waste incinerator plant operated by Rechem at New Inn, Gwent.
§ Mr. ForthInspectors from the Health and Safety Executive are currently carrying out a full investigation into the cause of the fire at Rechem International Limited, Pontypool, Gwent on 12 July.
Information obtained from the investigation so far is that it is unlikely that local residents were exposed to any significant risk to their health and safety.
