To ask the Secretary of State for Wales (1) if he will arrange for signposts on the M4 motorway at suitable junctions to illustrate the direction to the town of Caldicot in the county of Gwent;

(2) if he will consult with Gwent county council about the erection of signposts at suitable junctions on trunk roads to illustrate more clearly the direction to the town of Caldicot.

The only trunk road junction in the vicinity of Caldicot is the motorway junction at Magor on the M4. Modification of the motorway signs will be undertaken prior to the opening of the second Severn crossing.
