§ Mr. FreemanThe number of fatalities (excluding suicides and trespassers) on all railways in the period 1975–89 is as follows. An analysis of the nature and causes of accidents is given in the report on the safety record of the railways in Great Britain which is issued annually by Her Majesty's chief inspector of railways.
