§ Mr. McAllion

To ask the Secretary of State for Transport (1) if he will list the new forms of alternative working patterns introduced into the vehicle inspectorate 45W since its establishment as an executive agency; and if he will publish a breakdown by grade of the numbers of staff taking up each new working pattern;

(2) how many staff were in post on the date that the vehicle inspectorate was established as an executive agency; and how many staff are in post now;

(3) if he will list those new facilities for staff including nurseries and healthcare schemes which have been introduced in the vehicle inspectorate since its establishment as an executive agency;

(4) how many appointments from the private sector have been made to the vehicle inspectorate at grade 7 or above since its establishment as an agency; and if he will list the post, grade and maximum salary payable including performance related element in each case;

(5) if he will give details of all group bonus schemes in operation in the vehicle inspectorate;

(6) what was the first degree obtained by the chief executive of the vehicle inspectorate; and from which university or polytechnic it was awarded;

(7) when the last annual report for the Vehicle Inspectorate Agency was published; and when the next one is due;

(8) if he will list the quality of service performance indicators adopted by the Driving Standards Agency since its establishment as an executive agency; and if he will identify separately those quality of service performance indicators already operative prior to agency status;

(9) if he will give details of all group bonus schemes in operation in the Driving Standards Agency;

(10) what was the first degree obtained by the chief executive of the Driving Standards Agency; and from which university or polytechnic it was awarded;

(11) when the last annual report for the Driving Standards Agency was published; and when the next one is due;

(12) how many staff were in post on the date that the Driving Standards Agency was established as an executive agency; and how many staff are in post now;

(13) if he will list those new facilities for staff including nurseries and healthcare schemes which have been introduced in the Driving Standards Agency since its establishment as an executive agency;

(14) how much was spent on events and publicity surrounding the launch of the Driving Standards Agency as an executive agency; and whether the cost was borne by his Department or the agency;

(15) if he will list the new forms of alternative working patterns introduced into the Driving Standards Agency since its establishment as an executive agency; and if he will publish a breakdown by grade of the numbers of staff taking up each new working pattern;

(16) how many appointments from the private sector have been made to the Driving Standards Agency at grade 7 or above since its establishment as an agency; and if he will list the post, grade and maximum salary payable including performance related element in each case.
