—two surveys of attitudes to crime and crime prevention among adults, done before and after Crime Prevention Week in April 1991;—two surveys about crime prevention, carried out in March and May 1991, as part of a series of surveys to test the effectiveness of crime prevention publicity.Some questions on attitudes to punishment were also put to 12 to 19-year-olds in May 1991 in an omnibus survey.
