To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food what is his estimate of the hectareage of land in the United Kingdom under cereals in 1991.

The preliminary estimate of the area sown to cereals in the United Kingdom for the 1991 harvest is 3.6 million hectares.
