§ Miss WiddecombeThe chief executive of each of the Department's executive agencies will write to the hon. Member with the information requested and copies will be placed in the Library and the Public Information Office.
Mr. McAnionTo ask the Secretary of State for Social Security if he will list the quality of service performance indicators adopted by each agency in his Department since its establishment as an executive agency; and if he will identify separately those quality of service performance indicators already operative prior to agency status.
§ Miss WiddecombeThe targets set for the Department's four executive agencies—the Benefits Agency, Contributions Agency, Information Technology Services Agency and Resettlement Agency—are set out in each agency's business plan, copies of which are in the Library.
We have for some time set quality of service targets covering many aspects of the service that we provide for our customers. Since their establishment, a new customer satisfaction target has been set for the Benefits Agency, and the Contributions Agency has been set new targets for the registration of personal pension applications and for the handling of inquiries from employers and contributors and about personal pensions.
