§ Mr. BaldryI am advised by the National Dog Warden Association that some 200 dog wardens are employed by local authorities, but some authorities employ more than one warden and others share a warden. Local authority dog wardens are responsible for enforcing a variety of dog control measures, including "poop scoop", dog ban and dogs on leads byelaws. There are no central records of the number of prosecutions.
