HL Deb 10 July 1991 vol 530 c90WA
Lord Trefgarne

asked Her Majesty's Government:

What proportion of the work of the Airfields Environment Federation, partially funded by the Department of the Environment, is concerned with commercial and military aviation as distinct from sporting and general aviation.

The Minister of State, Department of the Environment (Baroness Blatch)

The work of the Airfields Environment Federation is primarily concerned with environmental matters relating to the whole field of aviation. Although some of its concerns relate directly to specific aspects of aviation, it is not possible to give a breakdown of its activities in the manner suggested.
