§ Lord James Douglas-HamiltonInformation on the ownership of land in Scotland is already available to the public by inspection of the General Register of Sasines or the Land Register of Scotland as appropriate, both of which are maintained by the Registers of Scotland Executive Agency. The Government have no plans to introduce a further register of land ownership in Scotland.
