To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs how much land in the Falklands is now owned by Falkland islanders; and if he will make a statement.

With the recent purchase by the Falklands Islands Government of four farms previously owned by the Falkland Islands company, Falkland islanders, or their Government, now own about 95 per cent. of land in the islands.
