HC Deb 08 July 1991 vol 194 c257W
Mr. Hind

To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he has any plans to prevent British companies making large investments in horse racing and bloodstock from writing down this investment to zero in one year for tax purposes; and if he will make a statement.

Mr. Maude

It is not clear what sort of investment my hon. Friend has in mind. However, if he can provide further details I shall be glad to consider his question again.
