To ask the Secretary of State for Defence if he will give details of the bids received for HMS Challenger; and when he expects the vessel to be sold.

It is not the practice of this Department to disclose details of bids which were submitted in commercial confidentiality. Marketing of HMS Challenger continues and it would be premature to give a date by which final sale may be expected.
