To ask the Secretary of State for Defence if he will make a statement on the future of RAF Bentwaters and RAF Woodbridge.

Mr. Archie Hamilton

On 17 May the United States Air Force announced its intention to withdraw from RAF Bentwaters and RAF Woodbridge by September 1993. The Ministry of Defence is examining options for the possible future use of the stations. No decisions have yet been taken.
