To ask the Secretary of State for Defence how many complaints in respect of racial abuse or harassment have been made against military personnel in each of the past three years.

We do not maintain central records of all complaints of racial abuse or harassment. The MOD is aware, however, of four complaints in both 1988 and 1989, three in 1990 and one in 1991, so far.
