§ Mr. MoynihanNo. Responsibility rests with my Department for the general research development and demonstration programme for renewable energy technologies; this includes wave energy. The energy technology support unit, based at the Harwell laboratory of the Atomic Energy Authority, is responsible for the day-to-day management of the programme and reports directly to my Department on the performance of its work.
