Mr. JacksonAll 82 training enterprise councils in England and Wales have offered a youth training (YT) contract to Job Training Ltd. (JTL) which is the managing agency set up by the Electrical Contractors Association (ECA) in conjunction with the Electrical, Electronic, Telecommunications and Plumbing Union. JTL has signed, or is in the process of signing contracts with 80 of the TECs. The company has decided not to contract for places in the Dorset and Somerset TEC areas.
I replied on 28 June to the letter dated 10 June from the director of the Electrical Contractors Association. All problems described in that letter have been addressed.
