§ Mrs. ChalkerThe most recent figures available for British aid to Bangladesh are for the financial year 1989–90 when £52.8 million was disbursed. Within the last six months, our assistance has also included an additional £11.85 million to help the Bangladesh people cope with the effects of the recent cyclone.
