HC Deb 01 July 1991 vol 194 cc66-7W
Mr. Dobson

To ask the Secretary of State for Social Security if he will list the topics of each television advertising campaign to be carried out by his Department and any other publicity campaign costing more than £100,000.

Miss Widdecombe

The Department currently has no firm plans for television advertising. A publicity campaign connected with the Disability Living Allowance and Disability Working Allowance Act is likely to involve expenditure in excess of £100,000 but firm media plans have not yet been concluded. We have not given approval for any other publicity campaigns with this level of expenditure.
