§ Mr. HinchliffeTo ask the Secretary of State for Social Security what arrangements are available for the payment of attendance allowance to persons who normally reside in local authority homes but who spend periods away from such homes, staying with relatives or friends, for and during holidays and other periods.
§ Mr. ScottIf the usual qualifying conditons are met, attendance allowance is payable for daily periods (which must include an overnight absence) spent away from a local authority home. The claimant or his representative should inform the Department of any such periods and the allowance is paid in arrears by payable order.
