§ Miss WiddecombeSubject to other conditions, the severe disability premium is available, in income support, housing benefit and community charge benefit, to claimants who jointly occupy the dwelling with another person where they are co-owners, or are jointly liable to make payments in respect of their occupation of that dwelling, for example, if they are joint tenants. There are no plans to change this policy at the present time.
