Harrow spent £465 per nursery and primary pupil in 1979–80 and £1,115 in 1988–89, the latest year for which figures are available. It spent £745 per secondary pupil in 1979–80 and £1,740 in 1988–89. At 1988–89 prices those figures are £880 and £1,115 respectively for nursery and primary schools, and £1,405 and £1,740 respectively for secondary schools.
