§ Mr. JackThe submission from Church Action on Poverty has been acknowledged. So far, some 250 submissions have been received and it is not proposed to respond to each one in detail. We are grateful for all views expressed on the White Paper "Children Come First", they will be taken fully into account in finalising the policy and preparing legislation to give effect to our proposals.
