§ Mr. MeacherTo ask the Secretary of State for Social Security what benefits will be available to service men injured during the Gulf war; and for war widows and their dependants.
§ Miss WiddecombeService men who are injured as a result of the hostilities in the Gulf, and the widows and dependants of those who die as a result of service, will be eligible for pensions and allowances in accordance with the normal provisions of the armed forces pension schemes, administered by the Ministry of Defence and the war pensions scheme, administered by this Department. They may also be eligible for social security benefits.
