The figures as at 31 December 1989 were published in table 1 of the annual report for 1989 of Her Majesty's Inspector of Fire Services for Scotland (Cm 1144), a copy of which is held in the Library. The figures as at 31 December 1990 are currently being collected and I will send the information to the hon. and learned Member as soon as it has been received and collated.
