To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment what delays there have been in the Property Services Agency paying sub-contractors for work carried out on the construction of Her Majesty's prison, Belmarsh; and if he will take steps to ensure that the outstanding sums are now paid.

Payments to sub-contractors who have worked on the construction of Her Majesty's prison, Belmarsh are the responsibility of the management contractor.
