§ 17. Mr. Moate
To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food if he will make a statement about progress towards finalising the sale of the Brogdale horticultural research station and the future arrangement for the national fruit collections.

§ Mr. Curry
The Department is in negotiation on the terms of sale of the Brogdale site.
The Government will continue to fund the national fruit collection at Brogdale and it is intended that arrangements for its management will be secured by a contract between the Ministry, the Brogdale Horticultural Trust and Wye college.
