HC Deb 23 January 1991 vol 184 c254W
Mr. Foulkes

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence if the Royal Air Force Harrier involved in an air miss with a hang glider near Perranporth on 17 July 1986 was found to have made an unauthorised penetration of(a) the Perranporth aerodrome traffic zone and (b) the Penhale hang gliding site.

Mr. Kenneth Carlisle

No, since(a) no report of an unauthorised penetration of the Perranporth aerodrome traffic zone was received; and (b) military aircraft are not prohibited from overflying the Penhale hang gliding site; they are advised only to keep a good lookout if flying in the area.
