§ Mrs. Chalker1. The Overseas Development Administration's statistics do not show separate figures for aid expenditure on forestry conservation. Figures for bilateral aid expenditure on all types of forestry in the years 1980 to 1986, including research, training, other technical co-operation and Commonwealth Development Corporation projects, were provided in the written answer of the then Minister for Overseas Development, my right hon. Friend the Member for Bath (Mr. Patten), to the question of the hon. Member for Southwark and Bermondsey (Mr. Hughes) on 9 May 1988, at column9. Figures showing Overseas Development Administration 204W is-à-vis Commonwealth Development Corporation expenditure for the years 1983 to 1987 were provided in my right hon. Friend's written answer to my hon. Friend the Member for Brentwood and Ongar (Mr. McCrindle) on 15 May 1989, at column 21.
